Dairy Milk is retailed in colourful primary packaging of HDPE over a thin aluminium foil.
For different versions of Dairy Milk - Fruit & Nut, Roast Almond, Crackle, and Desserts, the company is using different colour combinations retaining the brand name style common. The basic combination is blue and white with variations of red, yellow and brown.
In a world-first for Cadbury, brand owner Mondelēz International is sourcing recycled plastic from Taghleef Industries for flexible wrappers to be printed and converted by Amcor. The new packaging, with 30 per cent recycled content, will be on shelf in Australia from September next year.
Chocolate is usually packaged in aluminum foil or composite films, paper or plastic trays, and then in corrugated cardboard boxes. Packages should have proper markings so that carriers and storage personnel know how to treat the freight. Chocolate is sensitive stuff!

The new design is the international pack sold across the world.Pearlfisher is the design agency responsible for the execution of the pack's new look. The fine purple and gold packaging is meant to portray the rich and creamy taste of Cadbury chocolate. The new international pack retains the gold Cadbury logo.
